Offers Policy
How Make an Offer, counters, expiry, quantity and payment reservations operate.
Making an offer
Where Make an Offer is enabled, you may propose an Australian-dollar price for the quantity shown. Stripe places a temporary authorisation hold for the offer total and postage, but no payment is collected unless we accept. An offer does not reserve stock while it is awaiting a response.
Verification and expiry
Offers remain open for up to 48 hours, or less if the payment provider’s authorisation expires sooner. Your confirmation email shows the deadline. Counteroffers require a new authorisation through the secure link before that link expires; we then recheck stock and confirm acceptance before collecting payment. Expired offers cannot be accepted.
Accepted offers
If we accept, we recheck live stock, reserve the card and capture the authorised total. Declined, expired, unavailable and countered offers release the earlier authorisation; your bank controls when the pending hold disappears.
An offer price applies only to the specified item quantity. Postage and any other clearly disclosed checkout charges remain payable. Repeated abusive, automated or bad-faith offers may be restricted.
After an offer is accepted, you are welcome to message us before dispatch if you would like to add other cards and combine them into the same postage.
Cross-channel availability
Items can also be listed on eBay. Our shared stock controls reduce both channels when a purchase is confirmed, but an unaccepted offer does not prevent another customer from completing a valid purchase first.
