WWE Autograph Cards: Signed Singles and Buying Guide

Choosing WWE autograph cards in Australia: compare on-card and sticker signatures, authentication wording, numbered parallels and condition before buying.

Match the release before comparing cards

Start with the wrestler, release year, manufacturer, set and card number. A wrestler can appear in several sets and versions in the same year. Use those details together to identify the listing.

A parallel is a version of a card with a different design treatment or other release-specific feature. Colours and parallel names vary across releases, so check the particular set rather than assuming every gold card has the same print run.

Read serial numbering carefully

On a card numbered 03/10, the first number identifies that copy within the numbered version and the second gives that version's stated run. This does not mean only ten cards of the wrestler exist: other parallels, base cards and releases may also exist.

Check that the serial number is visible in the photographs and matches the description. A card number such as #50 identifies a card in a checklist; it is different from serial numbering such as /50.

On-card autographs, stickers and printed signatures

An on-card autograph is signed directly on the card; a sticker autograph uses a signed label applied to the card. A printed or facsimile signature is part of the card design and is not a hand-signed autograph. Look closely at the photos and manufacturer wording before comparing prices.

For a manufacturer-issued autograph, check the authentication statement on the card back. For a separately signed card, review the stated authentication evidence rather than assuming the original card manufacturer verified the signature. Ask for clear front and back photos when the wording is unreadable.

A numbered card does not automatically have an autograph. Read the listing and the card's authentication wording to establish what is included. Ask if you cannot tell whether the signature is printed, on a sticker or directly on the card.

For memorabilia cards, read the wording about the material on the card itself. A patch's appearance does not establish which event it came from or how it was used.

Choose the version that fits your collection

Compare the photograph, condition, set and total delivered price. If you collect a favourite wrestler, an appealing base card may fit your collection as well as a scarce parallel.
