Buying trading card singles in Australia
A practical checklist for choosing trading card singles, checking condition and comparing the delivered cost in Australia.
Start with the card you want
Buying a single lets you choose a specific card for your player, wrestler, team or set collection. Before comparing prices, match the year, manufacturer, set, card number and parallel. Two cards with the same player and photograph can be different versions.
Decide which details matter to you: a particular moment, an autograph, serial numbering or a grading company and grade. Keep a short checklist so a similar-looking listing does not replace the card you intended to buy.
Read the photos and condition notes together
For raw cards, inspect the corners, edges, surface and centring visible in the listing. Reflections can hide marks, so ask for another photograph if an important area is unclear. A condition description is not a guarantee of a future grading result.
For graded cards, compare the grading company, grade and certification number with the holder shown. Check the grading company's own verification service when available. A grade alone does not identify the set or parallel.
Compare the full delivered cost
Check the currency and postage before comparing listings. Our prices are in Australian dollars. Australian tracked shipping is $9.50 standard or $13.50 express per order; extra cards in the same order do not increase the postage charge.
Check whether a listing is in stock, reserved or marked Presale. A reserved card remains visible but cannot be purchased while all copies are held. Presale stock dispatches after it arrives and is checked.
Before you pay
Confirm the listing quantity, exact card version and delivery address. Read the shipping and returns policies, and contact us before ordering if the description or photos leave an important detail unanswered.
Choose cards for the collection you want to build. Collectible prices can change; serial numbering, autographs and grades do not guarantee future value.
